Fusing industrial and natural environments, Rodríguez portrays abandoned structures surrounded by lush vegetation, often depicted as an aerial view. Inspired by his experience in North Adams and its post-industrial landscape during his residency at the museum, Rodríguez's "La travesía / Le voyage" blends the repurposed architecture of the MASS MoCA's sprawling former factory complex with architecture from Puerto Rico and other parts of the world.
