Painting acquired in 2025 as part of the exhibition Altar de Fuego at El Kilómetro in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

The exhibition explored cosmology, memory, identity, and political action as expressions of resistance. In this exhibition, fire is celebrated as a common thread in struggles and as a legacy of the bodies that survived dispossession and exile. We also celebrate it as a vital and ritualistic force that reaffirms the right to resist. In times of political uncertainty, lighting a fire is a revolutionary act.
